Bioexcellence : Foundation for Biotechnology Education Research and Training is a not for profit organization incepted for promotion of biotechnology and allied sciences. The key mandate for the organization is to work at the interface of research, academia and industry and improve the current state of biotechnology education and research.

The mission of the organization is to establish a nation wide network of biotechnology professionals for dissemination of information and knowledge about recent developments in the field of biotechnology.  The organization is working towards gathering resources for developing awareness and competitive skills in biotechnology professionals, especially students,  and train them to become qualified scientists and managers of tomorrow.

Bioexcellence has aligned its mission, vision and objectives in sync with the current needs and challenges faced by biotechnology community in India and is working collectively with industry, academia and research to bring about transformations in the present state of Biotechnology in India.

Bioexcellence is registered under Bombay Trust Act 1950 and is headquartered in the city of Pune, the Oxford of  East.
