With the advent of biotechnology and bioinformatics as new trend setters in industry, research and academia, much of the interest is growing in making a move in this field as future career. Although the science of biotechnology rooted in India a couple of decades ago, many knowledge gaps still exists. These gaps varies right from the start of choosing  a school and course to getting into an industry or institute with key roles and responsibilities. Bioexcellence serves as resource tool aiming to fill these gaps to the best of its values. As a role model we follow the philosophy Success lies at taking right turns at right times. We have started with a vision to support each turn of your career to make it a success.

Here at Bioexcellence , you will find a resource of information pool catering the needs of an academic end user. The scope has also been extended to serve for researchers and industrial professionals. The aim is straightforward i.e. right information for the right personnel. The web site contains very useful information arranged in a judicious and logical way which should be understood and accessible to the interested students, researchers or personnel.

The section BIOTECH COURSES lists schools, colleges and universities in India offering courses in biotechnology, bioinformatics and allied subjects. Although the list is neither complete nor exhaustive, the top colleges and universities are surely considered in the listing. We have been working lately on collecting information about the universities and colleges to make the database upto the date. An interactive version of the database, easily searchable with the keywords is under development. If you do not find your college and university in the database please write to us detailing  the name of institute, contact address and number, web link, courses offered, intake, admission criteria, faculty strength and other relevant information. You may post your responses to support@bioexcellence.org We will acknowledge your contribution on the website.

It is a matter of pride and proud for an academician and researcher to support his/her education/research with a prestigious scholarship or award. The Section SCHOLARSHIPS provides information about the scholarships and funding resources for academic and research career development. The section is regularly updated as and when new information comes to our way. if you wish to add to our know-how please feel free to write to us.

ADMISSIONS is one of the most dynamic section of our portfolio and updated almost on a daily basis. You will find here admission alerts about various courses in biological sciences specifically but not restricted to Indian universities and colleges. The Indian Biotechnology sector is regulated by government and non government bodies from school education to research institutes and industries. The section SCIENTIFIC AND REGULATORY ORGANISATIONS covers this information. Interested personnel who want to gain a good understanding about the regulatory structure of Indian biotechnology sector will find information in this section. you will understand the basics about Department of Biotechnology, Council for Scientific and Industrial Research, Association of Biotechnology Lead Enterprises and other organizations and their affiliated institutes.

SUMMER PROJECTS  section of Bioexcellence  covers useful information and tips for biotechnology students who needs to undertake a short research project or dissertation as a part of their degree course. periodic updates about project vacancies in top universities, industries and research industries is posted here. The Bioexcellence Google group members receives this information as a part of our newsletter. The section is still under development and will shape up slowly and steadily as information pool is built up.

Training workshops, conferences and seminars organized by various institutes are covered and addresses through the WORKSHOPS AND CONFERENCES section.
