Dr. Balakrishna Kulkarni
Dr. Kulkarni did his Masters and PhD in chemical sciences from Pune University. His has eight peer reviewed research papers to his credit published in reputed national and international journals. He has over 20 years of research experience in chemical synthesis. His work on isolation of anticancer compounds vinblastin and vincristin from vinca rosea has contributed a lot in the scientific developments in anticancer research. He has been associated with companies like Hoechst Marrion Russel (now Aventis) and In TorgOf Pure Drugs Limited. His has extensive experinece in new drug discovery and large scale process development of pharmaceutical compounds. Dr. Tendulkar is working as Visiting Assistant professor at the Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai.
